Mariam Latsabidze
I am a 19 year-old student at Tbilisi State University at the faculty of law. From my very childhood I have been participating in various educational and extracurricular programs. When I turned 16, I was selected through the competition and I took a chance to go to Denmark as an exchange student for a year. It was an exceptional experience and has made a huge influence on my goals and future plans. After being enrolled in the university was selected to join AIESEC and attended education month, before the visit to the Czech Republic for internship. As an intern, I was giving presentations in different schools about my country. I felt a huge responsibility, because I was not only an English language teacher but the representative of my country as well. It was quite challenging but awarding at the same time. After AIESEC I attended ISFIT held in Norway. I was part of Social movement group. This project was another opportunity to obtain better understanding of the reality and the social issues. Being selected as a SAY ambassador for the world congress is a great chance for me to become a pro active citizen. I will try my best to combine my previous experience with new one and commit myself in order to take part in creating a new global movement.
Katie Khizanishvili
My name is Ketevan Khizanishvili. In 2011 I graduated school with a golden medal and went on to continue my studies at Tbilisi State University. My major is International Relations, as a minor I have chosen Japanese studies. I am on my second year of bachelor degree now.
Still being high school student I was once Russian-Georgian translator’s assistant. I dealt with technical issues. In 2012 I volunteered for the position of the observer at Georgian Parliament elections 2012. In 2013 I participated in ISFIT 2013 which was held in Norway, Tronheim. As for other extracurricular activities, in 2012 I took the curses of “Management and Analysis of conflict’s social and psychological nature” and got the certificate. For the time being, unfortunately my list of participation in different activities ends with this but I am determined to add more new experiences to it.
