Ambassadors in Albania

Enika Bushi

Enika Bushi recently finished her master studies in International Relations at La Sapienza University of Rome. She started her advocacy for democracy and human rights as a teenager in 2005. As an activist on democracy and human rights she has a strong background in international human rights and relations, youth work, change leadership and global public service.

Currently she is e engaged in encouraging the process of effective democratization and protection of human rights in Albania as a One Young World Ambassador and coordinator of the Wake Up Call. Furthermore she is collaborating with the chair of EU Law of Political Science, Sociology and Communication in La Sapienza University of Rome. In this activity she is engaged in the process of adhesion of Albania to EU, collaborating with Albanian universities and institutions in formulating legislative proposals for aligning of Albanian standards with the ones of EU. Toward the later is oriented her written and research work also in the Council of Europe. 

She acted as an IR coordinator for Eurosapiens - a non-profit youth organization encompassing young students from around Europe, through which she lead academic and civil society initiatives on European citizenship, politics, human rights and economy.
